Responsibilities

• Loading, unloading, moving and positioning equipment and parts
• Assisting with the installation and servicing of workshop equipment
• Carrying out basic mechanical and hands-on tasks within your level of training and competency
• Keeping tools, vehicles, equipment and work areas clean and organised
• Assisting with packing up and cleaning customer sites after jobs are completed
• Supporting technicians to complete jobs safely and efficiently
• Assisting with parts, stock and materials
• Following all WHS requirements and safe work practices

Up to $37 p/h + company vehicle.

We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Trade Assistant to join the service team of an established business operating within the automotive equipment industry.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and wants to develop their skills and experience while working alongside experienced technicians.

About the Role

As a Trade Assistant, you will provide essential support to technicians carrying out service, repair and installation work on automotive workshop equipment, including wheel service and vehicle hoist equipment.

You’ll work across a variety of customer sites and play an important role in ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

• Assisting technicians with service, repair and installation work
• Preparing work areas, tools, equipment and materials for jobs
