J & E Veggies in Cora Lynn, VIC, is looking for a skilled Tractor Driver on a casual basis to support our vegetable production. You will operate tractors and related machinery across diverse farm tasks and help with soil preparation and harvest activities.

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence and proven experience operating tractors and farm machinery.
• Strong understanding of farm safety practices and compliance.
• Mechanical aptitude to identify and report maintenance needs.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliability and punctuality for seasonal work.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to undertake training on farm-specific equipment.
• Familiarity with vegetable farming is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractors and heavy farm machinery safely and efficiently across tasks.
• Inspect and maintain tractors and equipment before and after use.
• Perform soil preparation activities (ploughing, tilling, harrowing).
• Assist with crop cultivation, seeding and harvesting.
• Transport produce, equipment and materials around the farm.
• Follow health and safety regulations and farm protocols.
• Report mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly.
• Contribute to general farm maintenance and upkeep.

J & E Veggies is seeking a skilled and reliable Tractor Driver to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Cora Lynn, VIC, this role is integral to our farming operations, as you will be responsible for operating tractors and associated equipment to support our vegetable production and farm management activities. This position offers flexibility with casual work arrangements, allowing you to balance work with other commitments whilst contributing to our thriving agricultural enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Operating tractors and heavy farm machinery safely and efficiently across various farm tasks
• Preparing, maintaining and inspecting tractors and equipment before and after use to ensure optimal working condition
• Performing ploughing, tilling, harrowing and other soil preparation activities
• Assisting with crop cultivation, seeding and harvesting operations
• Transporting produce, equipment and materials around the farm as required
• Following all health and safety regulations and farm protocols
• Reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns to management promptly
• Contributing to general farm maintenance and upkeep activities

What we're looking for
