Job summary

Discovery Kings Canyon is seeking enthusiastic Tour Guides to lead guests through Kings Canyon, sharing the secrets of the landscape and its cultural significance. You will guide visitors on foot, conveying the natural history and local stories while ensuring safety and engaging communication throughout the tour.

The role is based at Kings Canyon Resort in a remote outback setting, offering a unique opportunity to live and work in the Red Centre with potential for growth and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience guiding walking tours in rugged terrain
• Passion for sharing natural history and cultural significance of the area
• Current First Aid Certification
• Working with children check required
• Open Driver’s License (essential) NT driver authorization desirable

Responsibilities

• Guide guests on walking tours through Kings Canyon and Watarrka National Park

Skills & Experience

• Experience guiding walking tours in rugged terrain

This is a remote role, where you will be living and working at Kings Canyon Resort. As such, please consider the reality of living in a remote location for an extended period of time. This role includes extensive manual handling tasks including lifting up to 20kg kneeling and squatting, as well as handling chemicals and utilising machinery
