Job summary

Anila Recruitment Pty supports a privately owned early learning centre near Cleveland. We are seeking a Diploma Lead Educator to take ownership of the toddler room and lead daily operations, planning play-based learning and supporting development.

You will mentor educators, build strong relationships with families and colleagues, and contribute to observations, documentation, and ongoing quality improvement, all within a centre accommodating around 80 children.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent.
• Experience with toddlers and supporting individual learning and development.
• Confident planning and implementing engaging, play-based programs.
• Mentoring fellow educators and building strong relationships with families.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operations of the toddler room.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences for toddlers.
• Create a safe, inclusive environment and support children's development.
• Build strong relationships with children, families and educators.
• Mentor staff and contribute to team culture.
• Ensure EYLF and NQF compliance and quality improvement.
