As a Plant Operator with Council, you will be a valued member of a skilled team delivering planned and reactive road works across the local area. This position is primarily responsible for operating the water cart and a HR drivers' licence is essential.

What Do You Need to Be Successful?

• Construction Induction Certification (White Card).
• Class HR Drivers licence
• Previous experience in operation of various plant in a construction environment.
• HRW licence for regulated plant.
• Current Implement Traffic Control Plans and Traffic Controller Certification.

Other details relating to this position are:

• Employment is under the Local Government (State) Award 2026.
• The positions are grade 4 in Council's salary system.
• Gross weekly wage range is $1174.30 to $1264.60 dependent upon the plant operator role, qualifications and experience.
