Job summary

The Pentarch Group is seeking Process Operators for its Mary Valley timber manufacturing operations in Imbil, Qld. You will operate timber processing machinery, grade timber, and support production across our sites (Imbil and occasional Melawondi).

The role offers a 4-day week schedule with 5:15am–3:15pm shifts and a base rate of $27.08 per hour plus super, with permanent full-time progression and paid overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in machine operating, labouring or manual handling in a production environment is highly desirable.
• Ability to travel independently to Melawondi and Imbil sites.
• High-risk forklift licence is advantageous.
• Positive attitude, reliable and punctual.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor timber processing machinery and plant.
• Perform timber grading, stacking, sorting, wrapping and strapping.
• Monitor machinery, detect faults and perform basic troubleshooting.
• Handle inventory and provide production support.
• Manually handle timber products.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised work environment.
• Support production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain focus on health & safety across the site.
