Love live events? How about being part of the team that makes them happen?
Join the team behind the marketing, ticketing and technology that powers concerts, festivals and unforgettable live experiences. This could be the role that puts you right in the middle of it all.
With 25 years of experience marketing shows, festivals and live events, Emedia Campaigns is entering an exciting new phase of growth.
Together with ShowTicks, we're looking for a motivated Sales, Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our growing Sydney operations, working closely with our national team and clients across Australia and internationally.
This is not a routine administration role.
You'll work behind the scenes across concerts, festivals, sporting events, venues and major live experiences, helping our clients successfully market, manage and ticket their events.
Working directly with clients, our Business Development Manager and our marketing and development teams, you'll gain hands-on experience across event setup, online ticketing, digital marketing, website management, sales support, customer service, software testing and on-site event operations.
No two days will be quite the same!
Learns new software, systems and processes quickly
Has excellent communication and customer service skills
Is highly organised with strong attention to detail
Can confidently manage multiple projects, priorities and deadlines
Is comfortable working with computers, software and online platforms
Has some understanding of websites, content management systems or basic HTML
Can work independently, take ownership and follow tasks through to completion
Is proactive, adaptable and enjoys solving problems
Has a genuine interest in music, entertainment, technology and live events
Brings a positive, can-do attitude and isn't afraid to get involved
Experience in event coordination, ticketing, digital marketing, sales administration, customer support, website content management or software platforms would be highly regarded.
You don't need to know our systems from day one. What matters most is that you're a fast learner, technically confident, resourceful and prepared to develop a strong working knowledge of our ticketing and event technology.
Setting up and managing events within our online ticketing platform
Liaising directly with clients, promoters, venues and suppliers
Supporting our Business Development Manager with sales enquiries, client follow-ups and new business opportunities
Creating and coordinating digital marketing campaigns, including email, SMS and social media
Managing ticketing information, customer databases and campaign lists
Updating websites, event pages and online content
Training clients and providing ongoing software and ticketing support
Testing software, ticketing processes and online customer journeys
Assisting with event reporting, sales performance and administration
Providing occasional on-site ticketing and event support
We're a small, experienced team with big ambitions.
You'll have the opportunity to work directly with decision-makers, develop specialist skills in event technology and digital marketing, and take ownership of projects from initial planning through to live event delivery.
As our business and technology evolve, so will the opportunities available to you.
You'll be joining a business that has spent 25 years working across the live entertainment industry and is now developing the next generation of integrated ticketing, marketing and event management technology.
This is a full-time, Sydney-based position located in Wetherill Park.
Because live events don't always happen between 9am and 5pm, occasional travel, weekend work and extended hours will be required. Additional hours are compensated through time in lieu or additional pay.
If you're enthusiastic, technically confident, love a challenge and want to build a career across live events, marketing and technology, we'd love to hear from you.
