Control Risks is seeking a Researcher for its Online Threat Intelligence team in Sydney. You will research open sources and the deep/dark web to produce bespoke written analysis for clients, contextualising threats and assessing credibility.

The role focusses on manual and automated searches, reporting, and developing information-gathering capabilities to support timely intelligence, with a preference for understanding the online threat landscape.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to collect open-source intelligence and assess its credibility.
• Experience writing clear, concise reports with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple client deadlines efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Research and production: conduct searches to identify threats against clients and assess credibility.
• Produce bespoke written analysis contextualising and assessing client threats.
• Research new sources and develop capabilities to collect and analyse information for the team.
