Job summary

Kinexus has partnered with the Australian Signals Directorate to source Security/Cyber Threat Analysts to strengthen the organisation's security posture through threat-driven analysis and vulnerability assessment. The role involves incident monitoring, developing response procedures and working with security leadership to ensure robust controls against evolving threats.

This is a 12-month contract with two 12-month extensions, based in Canberra or Adelaide, and requires TSPV clearance.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform threat-driven analyses of systems.
• Experience with threat intelligence and incident monitoring.
• Ability to develop incident response plans and playbooks.
• Ability to assess vulnerabilities and propose remediation.
• Ability to review security controls for weaknesses.

Responsibilities

• Perform analysis of system security based on a threat-driven approach.
• Analyse threat intelligence for system-specific threats.
• Monitor security events and information for security incidents.
• Develop and use incident response plans and playbooks.
• Analyse security vulnerabilities and propose solutions.
• Review current system security controls for vulnerabilities.
• Develop procedures to monitor and analyse security information and events.
• Support, plan and conduct test and evaluation activities for deliverable systems and products.
• Support the Technical Leadership team as required.
