Job summary

Kinexus is seeking Penetration Testers for a Federal Government client to analyse IT systems, identify weaknesses, and produce clear reports with recommendations. The role requires Australian citizenship and an active TSPV security clearance; sponsorship is not available.

This is a 12-month contract with potential extensions, on-site in Canberra (ACT). Key duties include conducting penetration testing of ICT applications and gateway infrastructure, applying established frameworks and reporting

Job description

This role requires an Australian citizenship with an active TSPV security clearance. These opportunities do not have the ability to obtain sponsorship for a security clearance.

Our Federal Government client requires Penetration Testers to analyse IT systems to determine configuration weaknesses and faults that would impact on security and business, then produce reports detailing the findings and recommendations for improved network security.

This is a 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options.

This role is based on-site in Canberra (ACT).

Key duties and responsibilities:

• Conduct penetration testing of ICT applications and gateway infrastructure.
• Utilise a number of penetration testing techniques, frameworks and tools.
• Develop specific plans and procedures for penetration tests.
• Record approaches, techniques and results for reporting.
• Create and maintain reporting on penetration tests and recommend technical solutions for identified vulnerabilities.
