Job summary

Kirinari Community Services in Launceston, TAS invites experienced Disability Support Workers to join Christmas casual positions. You will work within a therapeutic, person-centred model to support independence and community participation.

Applicants should hold current screenings, First Aid at minimum, and a commitment to dignity and choice. Flexible rosters and ongoing development are offered.

Qualifications

• Availability during December 2026 and January 2027.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance required.
• First Aid and CPR current.
• Valid Driver Licence and insured vehicle.
• Working With Children/Vulnerable Persons Check.
• Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Support participants to build independence and daily living skills
• Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies
• Promote choice, control and self-determination
• Facilitate community participation and social connection
• Support participants to achieve their individual goals
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
