Kirinari Community Services is seeking experienced Disability Support Workers for Christmas casual positions in New South Wales. The role focuses on building meaningful relationships, supporting independence and helping participants achieve their goals.

You will work within a therapeutic support model emphasising strengths-based practice, trauma-informed care and Positive Behaviour Support principles to promote choice and community participation.

Qualifications

• Availability during December 2026 and January 2027.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
• Current First Aid and CPR.
• Current Driver Licence.
• Reliable and insured vehicle.
• Working With Children/Vulnerable Persons Check.
• Australian working rights.

Responsabilités

• Support participants to build independence and daily living skills.
• Implement Positive Behaviour Support strategies.
• Promote choice, control and self-determination.
• Facilitate community participation and social connection.
• Support participants to achieve their individual goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes.
