As a permanent part‑time member of our team (working a flexible rotating roster), your day‑to‑day duties will include:
- Theatre Preparation & Readiness
- Intraoperative Technical Support
- Equipment Management
- Theatre Turnover & Patient Flow
- Stock & Consumable Management
- Quality, Safety & Compliance
- Teamwork & Communication
What we're looking for:
To succeed in this role, you will be an enthusiastic individual with a passion for customer service who enjoys being part of a busy team.
You will also bring:
- A minimum of 12 monthsTechnician experience within an operating theatre
- Certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent is desirable
- Flexibility to work a rotating roster will be key to this role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable working in a diverse team
- Understanding of infection control and manual handling procedures
