Job summary

Ramsay Health Care in Melbourne is seeking a permanent part-time Theatre Technician to keep operating theatres running safely and efficiently. You will work on a flexible rotating roster and support pre‑op readiness and intraoperative technical tasks.

You will manage equipment, help with theatre turnover, stock and consumables, and contribute to quality, safety and compliance while collaborating with a diverse team.

Qualifications

• 12 months Technician experience within an operating theatre.
• Certificate III in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent is desirable.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster will be key to this role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a diverse team.
• Understanding of infection control and manual handling procedures.
