Job summary

Peter Moyes Anglican Community School seeks a driven Technical Events Manager to oversee the Allan Shaw Centre’s technical operations for auditorium, chapel, and outdoor events.

You will plan lighting, sound, and multimedia for internal and external productions, coordinating with staff and external contractors. The role requires 3+ years in theatre, school experience preferred, and strong leadership in a busy school environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a theatre environment or similar role.
• Previous experience in a school setting is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and produce internal and external events for auditorium resources and support.
• Liaise with teaching staff and external contractors to meet event requirements.
• Ensure safety and compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Manage calendar of events across Main theatre, Black box theatre, Chapel and Outdoor events.
• Coordinate technical staffing and ensure equipment is stored and maintained.
• Oversee induction and compliance for all staff and contractors.
• Lead on staff and contractor technical teams as Line Manager.
