Tetra Pak Machine Operator and Maintenance Technician

Join a long-established, family-run beverage manufacturer in Dunnstown, Victoria. With operations dating back to the 1880s, we have invested in a state-of-the-art production facility — designed with safety, cleanliness, and efficiency at its core. We are now seeking an Operator and Maintenance Technician to help uphold these high standards by running and servicing our Tetra Pak and automated equipment. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity for a reliable technician who values structure, precision, and consistency. Reporting to the Production Manager, you are an experienced operator with maintenance technician abilities familiar with troubleshooting the latest technology in processing, filling and packing equipment in a highly automated beverage and food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Check product's quality regularly
• Help and support all team members when it comes to on site housekeeping
• Managing tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies
• Flags issues with process, equipment or documentation and brings to attention of senior management
• Natural progression into managing preventative maintenance on automated production machinery

About you

• Has the ability to work unsupervised, respond to product quality and have strong problem-solving knowledge
• Possesses very good time management skills and is aware of priorities in production environment
• Liases well with stakeholders in quality, management and dispatch
• Has a keen eye to detail in troubleshooting
• Experienced with Preventative Maintenance in a previous role will be well regarded
• Has experience with UHT in dairy/nondairy industry (highly desirable)
• A formal qualification is preferred but not essential
• Must hold full Australian working rights
• Forklift licence an advantage
• Police Check required
• Flexibility to work occasional overtime
