Job summary

Gforce Geelong is seeking an experienced Afternoon shift production team leader to oversee the delivery of our steel fabrication products. You will manage workflow, motivate your team, and maintain a positive production environment to achieve on-time delivery and quality standards.

In this hands-on leadership role you will plan resources, monitor progress, and work with clients on specifications and budgets while driving continuous improvements across the shop floor.

Qualifications

• A trade qualification.
• Several years of experience in a boiler workshop.
• General understanding of NDT techniques.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent computer skills for data input and retrieval.
• Leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Guide your team in planning and workflow.

About the role:

Our client provides design and fabrication of structural steel, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, plate and piling steel products for major projects Australia wide. As the Afternoon shift production team leader, you will oversee the delivery of our products to our well known clients. You will manage workflow and motivate your team for maximum performance and efficiency while maintaining a positive work environment.
