Not-for-profit Organisation is seeking an experienced testing lead to own the detailed testing approach for a Dayforce implementation across HR, payroll and workforce management. You will coordinate testing with functional experts, stakeholders and the implementation partner, guiding SMEs and ensuring governance and readiness for go-live.
The role is hands-on, with responsibilities spanning test planning, execution across Core HR, Payroll, Workforce Management and integrations, plus defect
If you've led testing across a complex HR, payroll or workforce management implementation, you'll know how important it is to establish the right approach before critical testing begins.
Our client, a large, established not-for-profit organisation, is undertaking a significant Dayforce implementation across its HR, payroll and workforce management functions.
You’ll take ownership of the detailed testing approach, building on an existing strategy to establish the plans, governance and execution processes needed for successful delivery.
Working with functional experts, business stakeholders, technology teams and the implementation partner, you’ll coordinate testing across Core HR, Payroll, Workforce Management, Recruitment, Onboarding and other Dayforce modules, including their associated integrations.
This is a hands-on appointment. Rather than managing a large dedicated testing team, you’ll guide business subject matter experts through testing while remaining closely involved in delivery.
Azure DevOps is the testing and defect management tool used across the implementation.
Dayforce experience is highly desirable, although candidates with relevant Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM or comparable implementation experience are encouraged to apply.
Payroll parallel testing and Azure DevOps experience would also be advantageous.
The initial seven-month fixed-term contract reflects the funding currently approved for the position. However, the implementation is expected to continue well beyond this period.
With UAT currently anticipated from May 2027, payroll parallel testing planned for August - September and go-live targeted for late 2027, there is a strong prospect of extension to support these later phases, subject to further budget approval.
The role offers hybrid working, generally three days onsite and two days remotely. You’ll work across Sydney CBD and Carlingford, with the role likely to become increasingly Carlingford-based as the implementation progresses. Parking is available at Carlingford.
Eligible employees may also access not-for-profit salary packaging benefits.
All applications and enquiries will be treated confidentially.
