Job summary

Gold Coast Health is seeking a Senior Test Lead to oversee the development, implementation and support of testing solutions for Portfolio and Project Delivery applications on the Gold Coast.

You will lead testing frameworks, governance and collaborate with delivery teams to ensure quality and reliable test environments and data for project delivery across the region.

Qualifications

• ISTQB certification is highly desirable.
• Relevant IT qualification or equivalent ICT testing experience is desirable.
• Experience with automated functional testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Tosca, TestComplete) is desirable.

Job description

The Senior Test Lead will oversee and assist in the development, implementation, and support of testing solutions for Portfolio and Project Delivery applications.

An opportunity has become available for a Test Lead to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 14 000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.

The Role

You will

• Provide specialist advice and quality assurance recommendations to internal stakeholders on the delivery of test products
• Establish, maintain and continuously improve testing frameworks, standards, methodologies and governance processes
• Lead and manage software testing solutions and related technical specialist support services for Test Environments and Test Data
• Drive well engineered solutions with minimal technical direction and supervision
• Manage the project test team and collaborate with the Project Delivery Teams, and Release Management to prepare and maintain Test Environments and Test Data

About you

To be successful in this position you will require:

• While not mandatory, a relevant testing qualification such as International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) certification is highly desirable
• While not mandatory, a relevant Information Technology qualification or demonstrated equivalent ICT work experience in Software Testing is highly desirable
• Experience with automated functional testing tools is desirable (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Tosca, Test Complete)
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)
