Job summary

GoSourcing supports a Federal Government client seeking Test Engineers to determine and execute testing activities to validate the design and behaviour of systems and services across web, mobile, and mainframe platforms.

APS5 Test Analysts will provide technical advice, develop test plans, analyse results, and escalate risks under the direction of senior staff. Hybrid working arrangements apply, with on-site presence required initially.

Qualifications

ISTQB Certified Foundation Level Tester with extensive knowledge and understanding of frameworks, legislation, policies, procedures and information management requirements relevant to the work area.

Responsibilities

execute assigned test cases at various stages of testing on appropriate testing platforms.
develop test plans, test cases, task cards, and supporting test data and/or requirements, under own direction from the specifications provided.
analyse and report on test activities and results, and escalate issues and risks to senior staff.
contribute to team improvement initiatives and projects, including team tools, process changes, and test automation.
identify, manage and document defects, programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications.
