Job summary

GoSourcing seeks an experienced Test Engineer (APS5 equivalent) to determine, plan and execute testing activities validating design and behaviour of ICT systems for a Federal Government client. You will develop test plans, cases and data, report findings and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery.

You will apply ISTQB principles, work across hybrid onsite and remote arrangements, and contribute to team improvements while ensuring compliance with security

Qualifications

• ISTQB Foundation Level testing knowledge and practical experience.
• Ability to design, execute and report test cases and tests.
• Familiar with both traditional (Waterfall) and Agile testing approaches.
• Experience working in or with government ICT environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute assigned test cases across multiple testing stages and platforms.
• Develop test plans, cases, data and supporting requirements under guidance.
• Identify, document defects and manage risks; provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely testing.
• Mentor junior testers and support process improvements.
