Job summary

Centorrino Technologies in Australia’s Darwin area seeks a Test Analyst to support digital transformation initiatives. You will plan, design, and execute testing across the project lifecycle, develop test cases, scripts and plans, and ensure test coverage from requirements to delivery.

The role requires strong QA skills, experience with test tools like Jira/Azure DevOps, and ISTQB or equivalent certification, plus collaboration with project teams and business stakeholders to deliver quality

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Test Analyst within medium to large ICT projects.
• Experience developing and executing test cases, test scripts and test plans.
• Experience with data validation and SQL or similar database technologies.
• ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent testing qualification.

Responsibilities

As aTest Analyst, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of digital transformation and technology initiatives.

Working closely with project managers, business analysts, developers, vendors and business stakeholders, you’ll be responsible for planning, preparing and executing testing activities throughout the project lifecycle. You’ll help ensure solutions meet business and technical requirements and deliver high-quality outcomes.

What You'll Bring

• Demonstrated experience as a Test Analyst within medium to large ICT projects.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC and quality assurance principles.
• Experience developing and executing test cases, test scripts and test plans.
• Experience with test and defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and defect investigation skills.
• Experience with data validation and SQL or similar database technologies.
• Ability to interpret business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test coverage.
• ISTQB Foundation Certification or equivalent testing qualification.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related discipline.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, organisation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively in a fast-paced project environment.
