Job summary

K&B Mitre 10 is seeking a high-energy Trade Account Manager to own and grow a ground-up patch across South Australia, based out of the Torrensville office. You’ll build relationships with builders and trades, spot opportunities, and deliver tailored timber and hardware solutions while driving the full sales cycle.

You’ll be out in the market, traveling across your territory to grow footprint and strengthen our presence, with a strong emphasis on new business and credible

Qualifications

• Experience in trade sales (timber, hardware, building materials or similar).
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across your territory.
• Ability to build product knowledge and credibility in the market.
• Comfort using CRM systems to manage pipeline and track activity.

Responsibilities

• Build strong, credible relationships with builders, contractors and trade professionals.
• Identify gaps in the market and actively pursue new business opportunities.
• Grow your territory from the ground up – convert prospects into loyal customers.
• Promote our range of timber and hardware solutions, tailored to customer needs.
• Manage the full sales cycle from initial conversation through to close.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
• Keep a pulse on competitor activity, pricing and market trends.
• Prepare quotes, proposals and presentations that win business.
• Track performance, forecasting, and share insights with leadership.
