Job summary

Terra Infrastructure is seeking an experienced sales professional to drive growth across the South Island and lower North Island. You will prospect new customers, grow existing accounts, and provide technical advice across our product range, including sheet piling and foundation machinery.

The role is hybrid with regular travel, supported by a team and tools. A strong track record in civil/construction sales, excellent communication, and the ability to manage strategic initiatives are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years demonstrated experience in the civil or construction industry.
• Experience with sheet piling, piling/foundation machinery, trench shoring or ground anchors.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to develop technical knowledge across the product range.
• Strong organisational and time management skills in a hybrid, field-based role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word & Excel).
• Full, valid driver’s licence with willingness to travel including overnight trips.
• Current right to work in New Zealand.

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new business opportunities across the South Island and lower North Island
• Manage and grow an existing customer portfolio
• Provide technical advice and tailored solutions across our product range
• Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to increase sales volume
• Manage the end-to-end sales process from initial engagement through to close
• Conduct regular customer visits to build relationships and identify opportunities
• Work independently in a hybrid, customer-facing role while staying connected with the wider team
