Cook Medical Inc. is seeking a Permanent, Full Time Sales role based in Brisbane, Queensland, with a home-office element.

The role focuses on promoting peripheral vascular products to Interventional Radiologists and Vascular Surgeons across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, supporting theatre procedures with device technology and clinical education. The ideal candidate has a background in implantable medical devices or hospital sales, plus a willingness to travel interstate and obtain required

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in science, business, biomedical science, nursing or radiography preferred.
• Proven success in a medical device or hospital sales role.
• Evidence of vaccinations for vaccine preventable diseases relevant to territory required.
• Satisfactory police check essential.
• WWC (Working with Children) certificate or the ability to obtain one essential.
• Some interstate travel may be required.
• Full working rights within Australia required.

Responsibilities

• Promote a complete range of peripheral vascular products to Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, nursing staff, purchasing and supply managers in the designated territory
• Develop and maintain ongoing strong customer relationships to be most recommended vascular partner
• Monitor and support consignment within company guidelines
• Maintain a high level of knowledge in appropriate areas including competitive clinical information.
• Analyse sales reports to identify business opportunities
• Be accountable for meeting or exceeding the sales forecast, run a profitable territory and identify and execute sales opportunities
• Provide procedural and product support within a theatre environment
• Coordinate and deliver in-service education sessions

Location – Brisbane, Queensland / Home Office Based

Reporting to the Regional Business Manager – Vascular, Peripheral Intervention, the purpose of this role is to help our team exceed peripheral vascular sales targets across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. You will be joining a sales team in the support of Vascular procedures with a focus on device technology that addresses broad vascular applications, including treatment of peripheral arterial disease and pulmonary embolism prevention supporting Interventional Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, Trainees, and other Health Professionals.

A background in implantable medical devices or hospital sales would be highly regarded. A dedicated training program will be provided.

Qualifications

• Proven success in a medical device or hospital sales role
• Energetic, self-driven, results-oriented individual with a positive outlook and clear focus on high quality service and business profit
• Excellent time management, planning and organising skills essential
• Ability to work comfortably in a theatre/clinical environment
• Some interstate travel may be a requirement of this role
• Due to the inherent requirements of this role, evidence of vaccinations for relevant vaccine preventable diseases as well as COVID-19 vaccination relevant to the territory and the ability to maintain vaccination status essential
• Satisfactory police check essential
• WWC (Working with Children) certificate or the ability to obtain one essential
