Job summary

P.E. Foods is seeking a Territory Manager for Townsville to manage an established foodservice and retail portfolio while identifying and onboarding new business opportunities.

You will inherit a strong customer base with significant growth potential across the Territory. Join our Artisan Division and drive revenue growth, build long-term relationships and exceed sales targets across Townsville and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

• Experience within the foodservice industry; former chefs encouraged.
• Commercial acumen with a results-focused, target-driven approach.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while collaborating with a team.
• Current driver’s licence and intermediate computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow an existing portfolio of foodservice and retail customers.
• Develop strong, long-term relationships with customers.
• Identify and secure new business opportunities across the territory.
• Introduce customers to our artisan and specialty food range.
• Work towards and exceed agreed sales and revenue targets.
• Identify opportunities to increase product penetration within existing accounts.
• Manage your territory, customer visits and sales activity effectively.
• Work collaboratively with the broader P.E. Foods team to deliver great customer outcomes.

Our Artisan Division is looking for a sales superstar to join our Townsville team and help us continue to grow our presence across the region.

About the Role

As our Territory Manager, you will manage an established portfolio of foodservice and retail customers while identifying and onboarding new business opportunities.

You’ll inherit a strong existing customer base, with significant opportunity to grow the territory, increase revenue and build long-term customer relationships.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, commercial drive and a genuine interest in great food.

You’ll ideally have:

• Experience within the foodservice industry – former chefs or pastry chefs are strongly encouraged to apply
• A strong desire to succeed and an interest in being part of a growing, entrepreneurial business
• Commercial acumen and a results-focused, target-driven approach
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to work collaboratively while also being confident working autonomously
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and an ability to find practical, innovative solutions
• Resilience, adaptability and a good sense of humour
• Strong time management, organisational skills and attention to detail
• A current driver’s licence
