Applied Industrial Technologies Pty is seeking an Account Representative to drive new business and strengthen relationships with existing customers in the VIC region. You will engage with branch and product teams and leverage an extensive range of industrial products to deliver tailored solutions.

The role focuses on developing opportunities, maintaining a structured customer plan, and achieving sales targets while working closely with internal teams and CRM systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an external sales, account management or business development role.
• Experience within industrial products, bearings, power transmission or related industry would be highly regarded.
• Strong customer relationship and business development skills.
• Proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new opportunities.

Responsabilités

• Develop and grow new business opportunities within your territory.
• Manage and grow relationships with existing customers.
• Develop and maintain a structured customer call plan.
• Conduct regular customer visits and identify opportunities to increase sales.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with key customer contacts.
• Identify customer needs and provide appropriate product and service solutions.
• Prepare and follow up quotations and sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within our CRM system.
• Work closely with internal sales, branch and product teams to deliver a high level of customer service.
• Monitor market activity and identify potential new customers and opportunities.
• Achieve agreed sales and growth targets.
