Pacific National in Townsville is seeking a Forklift Operator to join our team. This permanent role supports loading/unloading containerised rail freight and operates in a 24/7 rotating shift.

You will work under supervision, ensuring safety, efficiency, and teamwork to meet operational targets. Training provided; LF forklift licence and a valid driver’s licence are essential.

• LF Forklift Licence is essential.
• Current Driver's Licence is required.
• Safety-focused with attention to detail.

What You'll Do

Load and unload containerised rail freight safely and efficiently.

Reporting to the Supervisor, you will:

• Operate forklifts to load/unload rail wagons and trucks
• Ensure all freight handling is completed safely and efficiently
• Work within a 24/7 rotating shift environment
• Support safe operations and maintain equipment standards
• Work as part of a team to meet operational targets

What You'll Bring

• LF Forklift Licence (essential)
• Current Driver's Licence
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail
• Team-focused approach with a willingness to learn
• Basic computer skills

No prior rail experience required - full training provided.
