St Spyridon College in Sydney is seeking a qualified College Counsellor for a permanent part-time role (0.80 FTE), commencing Term 1, 2027. You will provide confidential counselling to students from KM1 to Year 12 and support wellbeing within school terms.

You will work with College Leadership, teachers and families to identify wellbeing needs, conduct assessments, and deliver targeted interventions, including crisis support, while maintaining records and contributing to a safe, inclusive school

Formación

• Current registration or membership with a recognised professional association, where applicable.
• Demonstrated experience providing counselling and wellbeing support within a school/educational setting.
• Ability to provide crisis intervention and understand mandatory reporting obligations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide professional, confidential counselling to students across KM1–Year 12.
• Conduct wellbeing and risk assessments and develop student support plans.
• Deliver short-term interventions and small group wellbeing sessions.
• Collaborate with College Leadership, staff and families to identify at-risk students.
• Maintain accurate, secure counselling records and contribute to wellbeing programs.
