Job summary

HWL Ebsworth Lawyers seeks an experienced tender writer on a 6-month contract. You will coordinate bid responses end-to-end, write persuasive proposals and quotations, and draft tailored capability statements with marketing, partners and lawyers. Ensure timely, high-quality submissions and drive improvements through debriefs.

Hybrid work across Australia, with the flexibility to operate from capital cities. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing deadlines are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience writing tenders, RFTs and RFPs with client-focused submissions.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and bid processes end-to-end.
• Collaborate with marketing, partners and lawyers.

About you

You are an experienced tender writer with a sharp eye for detail, strong bid management capability and a talent for bringing together compelling, client-focused submissions. You think strategically, manage competing deadlines with confidence and contribute ideas that help teams produce high-quality responses to RFTs, RFPs and other tender opportunities.

Working closely with our marketing specialists, partners and lawyers, you will play a key role in contributing to, coordinating and managing the bid process from start to finish, helping to ensure responses are delivered on time and to a consistently high standard. You will use your skills to:

• write persuasive proposals, tenders and quotations
• draft tailored client and practice group capability statements
• project manage timelines and source contributions
• collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders involved in bid responses, and
• attend debriefs and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
