Tender Pricing / Commercial Analyst role based in Melbourne, on a 3-month contract, focusing on pricing, costing and P&L modelling for multiple tenders. You will collaborate with Commercial Finance, Sales and Operations to translate data into accurate tender economics.

The role requires hands-on analysis of large datasets, reviewing pricing models and ensuring commercial sense across product/service lines. On-site five days per week in inner city or Southeast Melbourne.

Qualifications

• Experience with pricing, costing, financial modelling or P&L analysis.
• Strong commercial and analytical capability.
• Good practical Excel skills including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCH.

Tender Pricing / Commercial Analyst | 3-Month Contract

We’re recruiting aCommercial / Tender Pricing Analysts to support a major national organisation through a busy tender period.
This hands-on commercial role is suited to analysts who enjoy getting into the detail of pricing, costing and P&L modelling, working closely with commercial, sales and operational teams.
You’ll work across multiple live tenders, analysing large volumes of operational data across different products and services and ensuring the underlying cost and revenue assumptions translate accurately into the overall tender P&L.

What we’re looking for You’re likely to come from a Commercial Analyst, Pricing Analyst, Tender Analyst, Cost Analyst, Financial Analyst or commercially focused Management Accounting background.
You’ll bring:

• Strong commercial and analytical capability
• Experience with pricing, costing, financial modelling or P&L analysis
• Confidence working with multiple products, services or cost drivers
• Good practical Excel skills including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCH
• Strong interpersonal skills and the confidence to question and challenge assumptions
• Ability to get up to speed quickly and work effectively in a fast-moving environment

Experience from multi-product or operational businesses such as transport/logistics, FMCG, manufacturing, facilities services, industrial services or infrastructure could translate well.

This role isonsite five days per week, either in inner city or Southeast Melbourne so please indicate your preferred location when applying.

Salary Guide: Circa $70-85ph + Super commensurate with experience.

The opportunity This is a great short-term opportunity for commercially minded analysts who enjoy understanding how products and services actually make money, rather than purely producing financial reports.

The initial contracts are for three months, with an immediate start preferred.
