Job summary

Sharp and Carter is seeking a Pricing Analyst to own and evolve the company’s pricing function. You will lead pricing governance, develop cost-based models, and translate market movements into actionable pricing recommendations to support profitability and growth across products and customer segments.

You will collaborate with sales, procurement, operations and finance to balance margin protection with competitiveness, delivering insights to senior leadership and guiding strategic commercial

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in pricing, commercial analysis, or related fields.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex data handling.

You’ll be responsible for managing pricing processes, developing cost-based pricing models and supporting commercial decisions through detailed analysis and market insights. You’ll ideally bring:

• 3+ years experience in pricing, commercial analysis, finance, category management or similar
• Strong analytical and financial modelling capabilities
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with complex datasets
• Proven ability to balance commercial outcomes with margin performance
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience developing pricing models, profitability analysis and scenario modelling
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the ability to operate autonomously

Highly Regarded

• Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, wholesale distribution or other product-based industries
• Exposure to cost-based pricing methodologies and margin analysis
• Understanding of supply chain, procurement or operational cost drivers
• Experience within a multi-site or national business environment
