Job summary

St Clare's College Waverley in Sydney is seeking a skilled Mathematics Teacher (Year 7–12) for maternity leave cover from October 2026 to end of 2027. This full-time role sits within Sydney Catholic Schools and offers a supportive learning community.

You will deliver high-quality, collaborative pedagogy, integrate emerging technologies, and assess student progress using formative and summative methods, while upholding Catholic ethos and student wellbeing.

About You

As a Mathematics Teacher (Year 7 - 12, Maternity Leave Cover), Term 4, 2026 - End of Term 4, 2027, you will work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.

The successful applicant will:

• demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Mathematics from Stage 4 to Stage 6
• utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress

• demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being.

You will have attained:

• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation.

Working With Children Check (WWCC)

This role is classified as child-related work and therefore requires a WWCC clearance prior to commencement of employment.
