Job summary

Brisbane City Council is seeking a contract management specialist for the Story Bridge Depot. This temporary full-time role focuses on managing construction contracts, procurement support, and contractor relationships to ensure safe, efficient project delivery through 30 June 2028.

You will work with project managers, engineers and contractors, providing commercial advice, risk management and stakeholder coordination within a complex infrastructure setting.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience managing construction, engineering or infrastructure-related contracts.
• Strong understanding of contract administration, procurement and commercial management principles.
• Proven ability to build relationships and influence across diverse stakeholder groups.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist contract management across major construction/engineering projects.
• Manage contractual performance and support procurement activities.
• Oversee contractor relationships and ensure projects are delivered safely and in accordance with contracts.
• Provide commercial advice, manage risks and support outcomes in a complex infrastructure environment.
