Job summary

Brisbane City Council invites applications for a Project Engineer within the Story Bridge Renewal Program. You will support planning, procurement, design and delivery, working with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to ensure safe, high-quality renewal outcomes.

The role requires engineering credentials and strong project management capability in a multidisciplinary setting, with a focus on delivering on time and within budget. This temporary role supports a major city asset restoration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or related discipline is mandatory.
• Experience planning and delivering complex infrastructure projects is essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, procurement, design and delivery of the Story Bridge Renewal Program.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors and stakeholders to manage interfaces.
• Apply engineering and project management expertise to achieve scope, schedule, cost, quality and safety outcomes.
• Navigate a complex major infrastructure program with evolving priorities and risks.
