Job summary

Sharp & Carter is assisting a reputable client in Melbourne, Victoria, seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Officer for a temporary, full-time assignment. You will manage end-to-end accounts payable processes and ensure timely, accurate payments while sustaining strong supplier relationships.

• Experience as an Accounts Payable Officer.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounts payable.
• Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Respond to supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Conduct three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and delivery receipts.
• Set up and maintain new supplier accounts in the system.
• Support the team with ad hoc finance and administrative tasks.
• Prepare and process regular payment runs.
