Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Telecommunications Technician based in Perth, Western Australia, for a 12-month contract. The role focuses on offshore telecommunications infrastructure, maintenance planning, and frontline support across onshore and offshore facilities.

The candidate will support SAP PM and ServiceNow processes, pro-actively coordinate maintenance tasks, and participate in on-call duties as required. A Certificate III in Electrotechnology Communications or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting telecom equipment in an operational environment.
• Understanding of maintenance systems and processes; SAP PM and ServiceNow preferred.
• Project close-out experience and familiarity with SAP and related tools.

Responsibilities

• Act as the expert and reference for Offshore telecommunications infrastructure.
• Plan, resource, procure, and support maintenance activities.
• Support SAP PM and ServiceNow processes for maintenance, work orders and service delivery.
• Execute and coordinate planned maintenance tasks with frontline break-fix support.
• Contribute to delivery of maintenance services per approved processes and procedures.
• Participate in on-call roster to provide break-fix support for all facilities.

Responsibilities

• Acting as the expert and reference for Offshore telecommunications infrastructure.

• Executing and coordinating planned maintenance tasks while providing frontline support for break-fix issues.
• Contributing to the delivery of maintenance services in alignment with agreed processes and procedures.
• Participating in the on-call roster to provide break-fix support for all operational facilities.

Requirements

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Communications or equivalent telecommunications qualification
• Hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting telecommunications equipment in an operational environment
• Project close out (SAP etc); Solid understanding of maintenance systems and processes, ideally SAP PM and ServiceNow
