Job summary

XPRO TELECOM PTY LTD in Sydney is seeking a Telecommunications Technical Officer / Technologist to assist in planning, installation, configuration, and commissioning of telecom systems and network equipment. Ideal candidates hold a relevant telecommunications qualification and have at least 2 years of industry experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of relevant telecommunications industry experience
• Knowledge of fibre optic, transmission systems, and telecom equipment
• Experience in testing, fault diagnosis, commissioning and maintenance
• Ability to read drawings, specs and network documentation
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, installation, configuration, and commissioning of telecommunications systems and network equipment.

About you

• Experience in network testing, fault diagnosis, commissioning, and maintenance activities.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and network documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Current Australian driver's licence preferred.
