CPS Technology & Infrastructure in Sydney seeks experienced telecommunication technicians to install, commission and troubleshoot Base Station and radio equipment, RF feeders, and fibre tails. The role requires hands-on work, testing with PIM testers, spectrum analysers and site masters, plus liaison with the RIC team for integration.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in telecom, familiarity with 4G/5G networks, and be adept at WHS requirements and MS Office tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' demonstrated experience in the telecommunication industry.
• Experience with TPG & Optus specifications, standards and HSE guidelines
• Experience working on TPG and Optus (4G/5G)
• Experience working with Huawei/Ericsson/Nokia equipment
• Sound understanding of WHS requirements and responsibilities - including SWMS, MOP, JSA's
• Excellent written & oral communications skills
• Appropriately skilled with MS applications including excel and word

Responsabilités

• Carry out post integration call tests to verify cell configurations, hand off parameters and call quality
• Technically assist riggers on-site
• Troubleshooting of equipment and systems

CPS Technology & Infrastructure are seeking experienced telecommunication technicians with strong RAN & radio equipment installation, commissioning and troubleshooting skills to join our team in Sydney.

Key responsibilities

Read and interpret technical design documents and implement/install equipment as per design

Installation and commissioning of Base Station & Radio equipment, RF feeder & hybrid and associated optical tails / fibre management trays

Swap, installation and commissioning of power units

Installation of Earthing and labelling following client's specification

About you
