Job summary

Genus Services is seeking an experienced Field Contract Manager to join our team in Sydney. This field-focused role oversees field activities across telecommunications contracts, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery.

You will audit work, manage contractor performance, and coordinate with project teams to resolve issues and drive customer outcomes. A strong on-site presence and proactive communication are essential. Knowledge of WHS requirements and field safety programs is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience managing field-based resources in a medium to large services business.
• Experience delivering projects safely, on time and to required quality standards.
• Strong knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence and Construction Industry White Card.
• Certificate III or higher telecom qualification is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field-based activities across assigned contracts.
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Conduct regular field audits with focus on safety and quality.
• Ensure Safe Work Method Statements and Technical Work Instructions are followed.
• Monitor contractor performance and ensure timely delivery and quality.
• Identify non-conformances and coordinate remedial actions.
• Maintain focus on safety, quality, customer outcomes and project delivery.
