The Role

TLS Consulting is seeking a TechnologyOne Administrator to support the administration, maintenance and ongoing operation of a TechnologyOne environment.

The successful candidate will assist with system administration, user access, troubleshooting and application support, working with stakeholders to maintain effective system operations and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities

The role’s responsibilities include all general TechnologyOne system administrator functions including:

• Providing technical support and training to the Finance Systems Team other Technology One system users.
• Monitoring performance and reliability of TechnologyOne, actioning incidents and accounting for business cycles.
• Proactively work with business to document use of TechnologyOne software, especially for audit purposes.
• Identify opportunities to improve business processes and system architecture via automation and the use of TechnologyOne software.
• Plan and oversee systems administration projects to deliver new functionality, version upgrades and user acceptance testing.
• Managing and maintaining user account administration (create/modify/disable) and systems configurations within TechnologyOne.
• Create, update and maintain TechnologyOne workflow and system administration documentation, to assist both Finance and the ICT teams.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Supporting the successful implementation of Technology One by undertaking configuration, data migration, testing and go-live activities.
• Maintaining all Technology One modules including Financials, Supply Chain, Budgeting (including the Client's Industry Funding cost recovery model) and Records Compliance, ensuring they meet organisational needs and best practices.
• Managing user accounts, permissions, document security, and access levels within the system, as well as conducting regular compliance reviews.
• Oversee month end processing and ensure compliance with internal and statutory deadlines
• Planning, testing and implementing system updates and upgrades, in line with the Client's ERP Roadmap and Cloud Operating Model.
• Monitoring the system’s performance and identifying areas for improvement, ensuring optimal functionality and reliability.
• Providing technical support to users across the Client organisation, addressing issues and promoting effective system usage.
• Follow support framework procedures including ticket management and user inquiries via phone and email, keeping within the required Service Level Agreement.
• Identifying and implementing improvements to processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Creating and maintaining comprehensive system administration documentation, including workflows and procedures.
• Working with other teams, including IT and HR, to ensure smooth system integration and data flow

Technical skills

• System Administrator or Technology One configuration experience, including strong functional knowledge of the Technology One system.
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing process improvement and achieving successful and transformational change.
• Ability to communicate effectively and negotiate with key internal and external stakeholders, including IT and Finance Teams and external vendors.
