Job summary

Tara Anglican School for Girls in North Parramatta NSW is seeking a Computing Technology Teacher to join our Secondary School community. The successful candidate will teach Technology Mandatory (Stage 4) and Computing across Years 7–12, contributing to HSC and IB Diploma courses where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Qualified teacher with NESA accreditation (or eligibility for accreditation) in NSW.
• Experienced in, or capable of teaching, Technology Mandatory and senior Computing-related courses.
• Passionate about digital technologies, computational thinking, coding, emerging technologies, and preparing students for a changing technological landscape.

Responsibilities

• Teach Technology Mandatory in Stage 4, fostering creativity, design thinking, problem-solving, and digital capability.
• Teach Computing and related technology subjects across Years 7-12.
• Contribute to the delivery of senior courses within the HSC and IB Diploma Programme, including Computing-focused subjects where appropriate.
• Develop engaging learning experiences that encourage students to become confident creators, innovators, and critical users of technology.
• Support and promote girls' participation and achievement in STEM and technology-based learning.
• Contribute actively to the co-curricular and pastoral life of the School.
