Job summary

Delta Electricity seeks an experienced Head of Technology to lead the Technology function across Sydney CBD and Central Coast operations, including Vales Point Power Station and Chain Valley Colliery.

You will translate business strategy into technology priorities, deliver secure, reliable services, and drive modernisation while partnering across Delta to deliver real operational and business value.

This role requires strategic leadership with governance in a critical infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Senior technology leadership experience in a complex organisation.
• Broad experience across infrastructure, cybersecurity, digital transformation.
• Ability to translate strategy into practical roadmaps.
• Strong cybersecurity knowledge and risk governance.
• Experience leading large technology transformations.
• Strong commercial capability including budgeting and vendor management.
• Tertiary qualifications in IT/engineering or significant equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Shape and deliver Delta's technology roadmap aligned with business needs.
• Lead secure, reliable technology services and digital platforms.
• Drive simplification and modernisation to improve operational effectiveness.
• Lead technology risk, resilience and SOCI Act compliance.
• Oversee technology investment with governance and measurable business value.
• Strengthen data and business intelligence to support decision-making.
• Build a capable, high-performing Technology team.
• Partner across Delta to share ownership of technology outcomes.
