Job summary

Operandi Consulting is seeking a Senior Developer & Integration Specialist in Melbourne to lead design, development and integration across critical systems including Dynamics 365. You will own quality gates, release governance and ensure security and compliance across a portfolio of applications.

The role offers hybrid working, a central Melbourne base, and strong investment in learning and development. You will collaborate with a small, capable technology team and report to the Principal

Qualifications

• Experience in enterprise application development and systems integration.
• Testing governance and release management in business-critical environments.
• Automated quality controls, test automation, static code and security analysis.
• Strong stakeholder communication and ability to challenge unsafe release decisions.
• Tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support applications, interfaces and integrations.
• Define test strategies across unit, integration, regression, performance, security and UAT with full requirements traceability.
• Apply disciplined release control, peer review, approvals, rollback readiness, post-implementation verification.
• Lead root cause analysis on complex application, integration and data issues.
• Set integration patterns and development standards across the portfolio.
• Ensure solutions meet security, privacy, information governance and compliance obligations.

Senior development and integration role in a highly regulated, purpose-driven environment.

We're partnering with an established organisation delivering essential services across Victoria. They're looking for a senior Developer & Integration Specialist to join a small, capable technology team.

The role

Reporting to the Principal Developer, you'll work across the full software development lifecycle design, build, test, release and support, for a portfolio of business-critical applications and integrations, including Dynamics 365 and several bespoke line-of-business systems. You'll also act as the independent quality and release assurance gate, verifying test evidence, documentation and approvals before anything reaches production.

Key focus areas:

• Design, develop and support applications, interfaces and integrations
• Define test strategies across unit, integration, regression, performance, security and UAT with full requirements traceability
• Apply disciplined release control, peer review, approvals, rollback readiness, post-implementation verification
