Job summary

BHP invites graduates to join the 2028 Technology Graduate Program, a two-year journey designed to accelerate your skills in automation, cloud engineering, data analytics and digital product development. You’ll rotate through four 6-month placements, with at least one on-site rotation at a major operational site in WA, QLD or SA, while you grow with a supportive cohort and leaders.

Qualifications

• Graduated within the past two years or due to graduate by end of 2027 with a degree aligned to the disciplines listed above.
• International students with a valid visa are welcome to apply.
• By February 2028 you must hold a visa with no work restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Rotations: 4 x 6-month rotations across teams to develop Technology skills.
• Work on projects in automation, operational technology, cloud engineering, data/analytics or digital product development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and contribute to real projects and business challenges.
• Build capability, gain confidence and apply university foundations to practical technology roles.
• On-site rotation at a relevant operational site (WA, QLD or SA) during one of the rotations.
