Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including the ability to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Demonstrated experience in planning high-impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluating impact on growth.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning using data.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students to achieve specified outcomes.
• Develop, implement and evaluate curriculum programs within the school.
• Contribute to school policies and priorities and mentor/coach staff.
• Engage with parents, carers and the wider school community to support student learning and wellbeing.
• Undertake other duties as appropriate to role and salary range as directed by the School Principal.
