Qualifications

• Provisional or full registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
• Must demonstrate completion of a postgraduate level accredited initial teacher education program.
• Must meet literacy and numeracy requirements (LANTITE) as part of ITE program.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation within a curriculum area.
• Engage in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings and related activities.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related and organisational duties as required.
