Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience across Technology Project Management as a Business Analyst or blended delivery role.
• Proven ability to manage technology initiatives from discovery through to implementation.
• Experience in regulated industries such as critical infrastructure, energy, utilities or construction.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders to understand operational challenges, identify technology opportunities and develop a prioritised technology roadmap.
• Lead discovery workshops and translate business needs into clear requirements.
• Develop business cases, Statements of Work, technical specifications and supporting documentation.
• Manage technology projects through the full delivery lifecycle, including planning, procurement, design, testing, implementation and handover.
• Work with Solution Architects to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security and standards.
• Manage external technology vendors, ensuring delivery against scope, milestones, budgets and contracts.
• Coordinate stakeholders across technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations and commercial teams.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies and governance requirements.
• Prepare reporting and decision papers for senior leadership and executives.

With significant investment underway, the organisation is delivering a complex, multi-year technology transformation program spanning infrastructure, cyber security, data, enterprise systems and operational technology.

About Your New Role

This role is perfect for a Business Analyst looking to make the transition into project management and delivery. We are looking for a BA who has already had the opportunity to lead a project / several projects as a project manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with business leaders to understand operational challenges, identify technology opportunities and develop a prioritised technology roadmap.
• Lead discovery workshops and translate business needs into clear requirements.
• Develop business cases, Statements of Work, technical specifications and supporting documentation.
• Manage technology projects through the full delivery lifecycle, including planning, procurement, design, testing, implementation and operational handover.
• Work closely with Solution Architects to ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture, security and technology standards.
• Manage external technology vendors, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, milestones, budgets and contractual commitments.
• Coordinate stakeholders across technology, infrastructure, cybersecurity, operations and commercial teams.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies and governance requirements.
• Prepare clear reporting, recommendations and decision papers for senior leadership and executive stakeholders.

About You

You are an experienced technology professional who can operate confidently across both Business Analysis and Project Management.

You will have:

• Demonstrable experience across Technology Project Management as a Business Analyst or a blended technology delivery role.
• Proven ability to manage technology initiatives from initial discovery through to implementation.
• Worked in critical infrastructure, enterprise asset management, energy, utilities, construction, engineering or other regulated industries
• Experience developing business cases, Statements of Work, delivery plans and vendor agreements.
• Strong multi-vendor management experience
• The ability to work closely with Solution Architects and technical teams across infrastructure, applications, integrations and cybersecurity.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement & workshop facilitation
• Strong commercial awareness, financial management and project governance capabilities.
• Exceptional written communication skills
• Excellent ability to produce clear, concise and structured documentation.
