Job summary

Willyama High School in regional NSW is seeking an experienced Teacher of Technology and Applied Studies. You will deliver Food Technology and Technology Mandatory (Years 7–8) with evidence-based, explicit teaching methods to engage a broad range of abilities.

You will collaborate with families and staff to support literacy, numeracy and student engagement while fostering Aboriginal student success in a culturally safe learning environment.

Qualifications

• Approval to teach Food Technology required.
• Approval to teach Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8) required.
• Demonstrated ability to implement evidence-based explicit teaching.
• Commitment to Aboriginal student academic and personal success.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Food Tech and Technology Mandatory instruction with evidence-based practices.
• Engage diverse learners and build literacy and numeracy skills.
• Maintain strong communication with students, families and staff.
