Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) in Canberra (ACT) is seeking a Technologist to provide timely, high quality technical support to ABC teams. You will troubleshoot faults as they occur, perform Master Control and broadcast operations, and contribute to maintenance programs and regional activities.

You will also support technical projects from scoping through to installation, while building strong client relationships and sharing knowledge with less experienced colleagues.

Formación

• Experience delivering technical support in a broadcast environment.
• Ability to identify and analyse client needs and troubleshoot faults.
• Willingness to mentor and share knowledge with colleagues.

• Investigate and fix technical faults quickly, using workarounds
• Carry out broadcast maintenance, including preventative maintenance schedules and regional activities
• Perform technical operations such as TV Master Control, program links and outside broadcasts
• Support broadcast technical projects from scoping and planning through installation and commissioning
• Build strong client relationships, advise on solutions and provide training and guidance for less experienced colleagues

Keep ABC audiences connected. In this role, you’ll provide timely, high quality technical support to ABC teams in the ACT, helping to keep programs and networks on air. You’ll identify and analyse clients' needs, troubleshoot faults as they happen and play a hands‑on part in broadcast operations and projects.

You will also;
